My current paintings are about the anthropocene going haywire. Disjointed bodies and dynamos lose control in violent and comical man made spaces inspired by environmental anxiety. The apocalyptic scenes show saunas seething with systemic breakdowns, flat earthers crucifying a Satellite, and weather instruments silently overseeing this avoidable stupidity. Much of the subject matter is personal reaction to absurd political events and climate news.

I was born and Raised in Queens New York. My studio is based in a basement. My greatest influences are Otto Dix, George Grosz, Picasso, Dana Schutz, Peter Saul and Sue Coe. I really dig painting that puts an expressive bent on real world events, which at this point could rival the most horrifying cartoon show.
